Another one is about having TC’s context menu-integration working when dragging files with the right mouse-button pressed, but not being always integrated into the context menu which pops up when you directly right-click a file (though, sometimes that works). One is about TC not asking for admin-rights if a destination-folder is UAC-protected (Don’t suggest me to turn UAC off, because that’s ridiculous!). I’m using TC since about an half year now (bought the commercial licence for using it at work some weeks ago).īut till now, there are about 2 or 3 bugs when using Vista (圆4) I’ve reported to Jeff which are quite easy to resolve, though they’re still not fixed. Imagine that you was copying file from network for several hours and incidentally canceled copy. Otherwise TC will delete these files, but will ask a confirmation if copy took longer than 60 seconds (default setting). Setting it to 0 will keep all incomplete files. What does the length of time have to do with it ? Either the user cancelled the copy or he did not, and either he wants the files deleted or not. I guess we need to wait for Total Commander 7.5. Total Commander didn’t generated Unicode file list that TeraCopy uses.
When TeraCopy Portable 2.0 beta 3 is integrated with Total Commander, I cannot use Copy/Move button on the default button bar to handle files with non-Unicode charchers. This indicated that DLL is loaded correctly and should add “TeraCopy Here” to the right-button-drag menu. After that I got ‘Quer圜ontextMenu’, clicked OK and then the window disappeared and no files were copied. Then I got ‘Initialize OK’ and clicked OK again. Why wait for Windows 7? Get a better UAC nowįirst I got window with text ‘Initialize’ and I clicked OK to that.
If TeraCopy doesn’t work as the default copy handler on a 64-bit system, try to install these packages:
Added: ‘WaitBeforeClose=N’ option (ini file).Changed: Rename files by appending _(number).Changed: Test result displayed as ‘N files match, N errors’.
Fixed: Error when copying the entire drive.
Fixed: Setting as the default copy handler under Vista Standard accounts.Fixed: Moving files between remote UNC paths now faster.Fixed: Problems with duplicating Windows Explorer File menu items.Added: Optionally delete incomplete files if transfer canceled by the user.Added: New Browse for folder dialog with the ‘Make New Folder’ button.Added: Register copy handler from the Preferences window.
